Date and Time: Saturday, September 30th from 1:00-3:00. 75 minutes of gentle yoga with time before and after to meet our furry friends.
Bring a yoga mat and any other props needed.
Tax deductible minimum donation of $50 will contribute to our rescues receiving the training and medical needs to find a “fur”ever home. Register to reserve a spot. Space is limited.
Class Description
Join us for a blissful session of Gentle Yoga at Yankee Golden Retriever Rescue in Hudson, MA. This in-person event will help you relax and rejuvenate your mind, body, and soul alongside some of our rescue dogs who will experience their OWN relaxation and rejuvenation by accompanying you during this class! Our experienced instructor will guide you through gentle poses and deep breathing exercises, allowing you to release tension and find inner peace. Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced practitioner, this event is suitable for all levels. Yoga Instructor
Julie McKay fell in love with yoga after years of teaching dance to youngsters. She attained her RYT-200 certification in 2012 and never looked back. Julie lives in Stow with her husband and son, and their beloved one-year-old rescue Bernadoodle affectionately known as “Bernie”. She currently teaches at Synergy Wellness Center and Revolution Community Yoga. Her classes are accessible, energizing, relaxing, and filled with heart and humor.
