What: A book discussion about Sharron’s book, “Weekends with Daisy”. We’ll focus on what it is like to train and raise a service dog, how it is co-parenting with a prison inmate, and the emotions of turning “your” dog over to the person they will provide their service for. We also hope to have a recipient with us to talk about what it’s like to receive “their” dog, and what it means to them.****Please note: There will not be any kennel tours scheduled during this event.
We will provide a light lunch and refreshments during the event. There is no charge for this event, however we are strictly limited to 35 cars at Riverview. Priority will be given to cars possessing handicap plates. Sharron will be autographing copies of “Weekends with Daisy” and we will have a limited number of books for sale, but she will autograph copies if you bring one with you. You can find it here:
