Thank you for considering a donation to Yankee Golden Retriever Rescue. Our Rescue Goldens, volunteers and staff appreciate your interest in supporting this very special cause. Yankee Golden Retriever Rescue, incorporated in the state of Massachusetts, is a non-profit, charitable 501(c)(3) organization. All contributions to Yankee Golden Retriever Rescue (YGRR) are tax deductible to the full extent of the law. You can be confident that your donation will be used for the benefit of our Rescue Goldens.

Individuals may support YGRR in several different ways. Outright contributions in the form of cash, check or securities are gratefully accepted, as are gifts-in-kind, accompanied by independent appraisals. YGRR welcomes bequests. (Specific information about making a bequest may be requested below.)

You may give an unrestricted gift to YGRR that can be used where the need is greatest or your contribution may be directed to any one of YGRR's four different funds. A description of each of these funds appears below.

All donations to YGRR are acknowledged in writing. If your contribution is in honor of or in memory of an individual, or to commemorate a special occasion, an acknowledgement card will be sent to you or to anyone you designate. (Please note that all acknowledgments are written by YGRR volunteers. Depending on their availability, it may take a few weeks for you or your designee to receive the card.)

Many companies offer a matching gift program that will increase the value of your contribution. If your employer offers a matching gift program which supports animal welfare, YGRR is a qualified matching gift recipient. Some companies even offer such programs for retirees and employee spouses. Please check with your benefits or personnel office to obtain the appropriate form(s).

Donation Fund Options

  • Operating Fund
    This fund supports the day-to-day care of Rescue Goldens in our program.

  • The Look Beyond Time Fund
    This fund is used to pay the expenses of senior Goldens (age eight and older) and Goldens with special medical needs -- at least 45% of our Rescue Goldens are in these two categories.

  • Facility Improvement Fund
     Gifts to the facility improvement fund help pay for capital improvements and the maintenance of Riverview, our home in Hudson, Massachusetts.

  • The Nana Heidi & Tawney Fund
    This fund is an endowment which assures the existence of YGRR's important services for future Goldens.

  • Bequests
    Your legacy will help us help homeless Goldens.

  • Unique Donation Options
