How Do I Sign Up?

1. Fill in the Pre-Registration form. Return it with your check (and proof of up-to-date rabies immunization for each dog).
2. It is only necessary to fill out one registration form per family. Registration forms may be photocopied for your friends.
3. The Pre-registration must be received by October 8, 2000. Attendees may also register at the event.
4. Begin recruiting sponsors for your walk, asking them to contribute in support of you and your dog's efforts. Set your goals high to help Rescue Goldens. Prizes will be given to those collecting the most money! Ask sponsors to write a check payable to: Yankee Golden Retriever Rescue, and record their name and donation amount on the Sponsor Sign-up Sheet. Additional sheets may be photocopied if you need them.
5. Please bring your Sponsor sheet and checks (no cash please) in an envelope with your name, address and phone number clearly marked to the registration table. To be eligible for prizes, you must turn this envelope in on the day of the Walk. (It is not necessary to collect contributions to participate, but if you do, our Rescue Goldens will be very grateful.)

Everyone Loves a Parade of Rescue Dogs! All Adopted and Rescued dogs are invited to participate. The parade takes place at noon sharp, so participants need to arrive in time to gather at 11:45 AM

Who Can Participate?

Anyone can participate!

Invite your friends!

It is not necessary to have a dog to walk or join in the day's festivities. Please note that if you do bring your dog, a non-returnable copy of the veterinary certificate stating proof of current rabies vaccination must be supplied with your registration form.

Children are encouraged to participate. (Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult.)

Human and doggie watering stations will be provided along the walk, and you are responsible for cleaning up after your dog. Plastic bags will be provided.

YGRR's Annual Meeting will be held at the Dog Walk. All are invited to attend!
